I just find this series to be a fun read. Delightful and true "characters"...I mean you've got the prim & proper lady where I'd never expect, the Jill-of-all-trades bestie finding ways to make-do in the circumstances, the gun toting but loyal and sweet with a hefty dose of sass gal, and the new-agey yoga gal and they've all become friends. They try to stay out of trouble while solving various problems that arise together. Then there is the sheriff, his lost love and her son; maybe they'll get together, maybe not. There's another gal who is antagonistic toward the prim & proper lady, and by default her friends, but we don't know why just yet.Product details

Five stars for a book which had interesting mystery, made me laugh out loud and had characters who could easily live next door.
I was anxious for this second book in the Granny Series after reading "In For A Penny".
So refreshingly clean with plenty of devilish mischievousness. I like all of the Grannies and identify with each of them in different situations. I get a kick out of the gun toting one.
I don't like to divulge story lines to insure surprise but I will honestly say, I can't imagine anyone who wouldn't enjoy this book.
So, B – I mean Mags and Lil and the Grannies are at it again. This time with online dating – as if they had any idea - oh, that’s what thus us about? Okay then. Something smells rotten in the State of Denmark as Hamlet would say. Those cute guys are too much! I enjoyed this story and recommend the book.
I've loved both the first and second novels in the series. Over-50 ladies, Maggie, Abby Ruth, and Sera are feisty, funny, and fabulous as they work together to protect their friend Lillian Fairchild Summer's family home and reputation while she's "on vacation"; and that's another story. These characters and story line are engaging without being over the top. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
There is no question the "grannies" still have feelings and miss the male contact, but the book takes the reader through their experiences as they learn to co-exist in a large, badly in need of repair, home while its owner is in prison. The owner in prison is its own story but the reason that three of the grannies met in the first place. They each have talents that individually the others envy which is why they are effective as a team of elderly sleuths. It's a fun book and a fast read. If you're looking for something light and entertaining, you'll like Fit To Be Tied.
Wonderfully written whodunit that isn't all about murder. Beware of online dating sites! The G Team is asked to investigate activities associated with an online dating site. When you get a Texan, a Southern belle, and a Flower Child together, you get a bang up team of investigators. Readers will love the insertions of humor as well as the trials and tribulations the three older women experience. I highly recommend this book to readers of mystery fiction.
I enjoyed reading book 2 in this G Team series even more than the first one. The adventures and mystery kept me interested and wondering. I enjoyed the grannies, and their sleuthing, as well as the other characters in the story. Other than a few cuss words, it's a good clean read. I'd definitely recommend the book.
This second book in the Granny Series doesn't disappoint! Lillian Summer Fairview is still on her extended "vacation" at the Walter Stiles Federal Prison Camp trying to maintain a low profile to keep Big Martha and her gang of gals from causing her trouble and just maybe she'll be granted an early release. Meanwhile the other over 50 grannies, Maggie, Abby Ruth, and Sera are taking care of business at Summer Haven, Lillian's beloved mansion.
When the septic system at Summer Haven tanks, it's too much for fix it granny Maggie to handle, and with no funds for the fix, Big Martha gives Lillian a proposal, she'll get someone to come make the repairs if the grannies agree to investigate ThePerfectFit.com, a website dating service her niece got involved in, and find out the identity of OnceUponATom who Big Martha is certain is trying to swindle her niece somehow.
Love is in the air this time around when the grannies enroll themselves at ThePerfectFit.com, especially for Maggie. And handsome Sheriff Teague, when Abby Ruth's daughter Jenny, the love of his life comes to town.
The grannies need to beat the clock in their investigation so the septic problem can be fixed before the Historical Preservation Committee comes out for their annual inspection at Summer Haven.
Can the grannies solve the mystery of the dating site and get the repairs done in time for the inspection?
It's amazing how these ladies get things done with the funny antics! A good read and I definitely can't wait for the next book in the series, great job Nancy Naigle and Kelsey Browning!
